I love a good story. Let me tell yours.

Maybe more than writing a story, I like the process of interviewing sources and researching the details and facts that complete the narrative.

WHY ME I am a proficient editorial coordinator and narrative journalist with 25+ years of freelance experience. I write to inspire, inform and engage readers. I know that creating conversations around an experience to make connections is applicable to every story. Plus, as a sustainability champion, I believe that business can be a force for good and that even one changemaker can make a difference.

MY PROCESS I begin by researching, defining and identifying the important components to a story. An experienced interviewer, I know what questions to ask to produce original quotes and content, and how to take a complex message to distill its message into conversational content with chewable take-away for mainstream readers.

TOPICS I LOVE My passion is environmental conservation, social responsibility and the natural world + nature-driven design. I like writing about about people making a positive impact on the planet. The changemakers. Social entrepreneurs.

I am also a parent disability advocate. I’ve written about disability for NYT and NPR. I follow disability stories and trends and believe that by planting neurodivergence into mainstream conversations we grow education and respect for this marginalized community.

OVER THE YEARS I have contributed numerous features both for online and print magazines including regional and trade publications such as B MagazineMother Earth NewsThis Old House Magazine, Philadelphia Magazine, Philadelphia Home, Wine and Spirits Quarterly, Winterthur Magazine and more.

CUSTOM IMAGES

In addition to writing, I play with photography. Why does this matter to you? Because I can take on an assignment and complete it with custom images igniting your story with eye-catching photos. All the images on my site are my own.
